Just a small amount of Sikaflex or double sided tape is required for a permanent fit.
NOTE, due to the inconsistencies in OEM assembly/ previous repairs/ paintwork, it may be necessary to slightly sand or file the lower edge of the ring in order to obtain a correct fit.
